The human behind the CV

A bit about me

I’m Sarah — born and based in Bari, on Italy’s sunny heel. I finished my studies and kicked off my career in France before going fully remote during the pandemic, which is probably why I’m happiest switching between languages, cultures and disciplines. I’m a proud cat mom 🐱, my idea of a perfect night out is karaoke or a musical show 🎤, and I only really discovered the joy of cooking when I went meat-free and started moving towards 🌱 — that’s where the clueless cook began. More than anything, in every corner of life I keep coming back to the same belief: how much communication and people’s experience matter to building a society that’s easier to live in and more equitable. Empathy, listening and stepping into other people’s shoes, paired with a genuine interest in technology and understanding innovation — I think that’s the real core of my profile, and it’s what professionally led me to product and UX the long way round, through words.

Profile

I turn complex systems into experiences people can actually use. Nine years in technical communication taught me how people really read, click and get unstuck — and that curiosity pulled me into UX, where I now shape the whole experience, not just the words around it. I’ve worked across cybersecurity, healthcare, finance and hospitality AI, most recently designing the Alfred Hospitality AI platform end to end, from the first research to subscription flows and documentation. I love the messy middle where product, UX and content meet — and I lean on AI to get from idea to a working interface fast.

Documentation portal — UX, IA & visual identity

2023 – present

Alfred Co.host · docs.alfredco.host

  • Designed the information architecture on strict information mapping — each page answers a single job-to-be-done — with a deliberately flat, shallow hierarchy so no one gets lost three clicks deep.
  • Built the portal’s visual identity and component system from scratch, with terminology mirroring the product UI exactly and held consistent across every translation.
  • Authored and structured all content in a docs-as-code workflow, and wired in a custom GPT assistant so the docs can answer questions directly.
